He Seems To Be A Child

Job’s thoughts toward God never changed even though his friends tried to help him and convince him that he was good. “He increaseth the nations, and destroyeth them: he enlargeth the nations, and straiteneth them again.” (Job.12.23.) He believed that god gave you something takes it away. However, this situation were his friends Zophar, Bildad, and Eliphaz are trying to help him and he refuses, for me is somewhat immature. “Knowest thou not this of old, since man was placed upon earth, that the triumphing of the wicked is short, and the joy of the hypocrite but for a moment?” (Job.20.4-5.) this is some of what Zophar explains to him about god that I agree with because any evil done uncovered it will be. Yes, maybe Job is the first rebel or revolutionary character of the bible he has some philosophical believes different form every one at the time, yet he knows what is best for him but still he does not follow. Job is also immature to God because God is trying to teach him something but job just does not understand god and gives up.

I think this is an example of how people grow and maybe god just gave job the personality to think like that so he can later grow but you never know what would happen. He and his friends think very differently so they see god but with different eyes.
