Do we finfish what we start? I dont think so...

Most of the people when they set a goal and their told is impossible to accomplish they just stop, Gilgamesh on the other hand, two parts a god one part a man does not stop even if told so. He is willing to go on for what he has fought to accomplish, avoid death. What I have read of the book so far has lead me to the thought of Gilgamesh being a human, just like any other, there are times were we see he is afraid and there are times like right now we see he is a strong person “new life may be obtained by means of it I will carry the thomy plant back to my city” (pg-80) Gilgamesh as we can see with the voice of this quotation is determination to do whatever it takes him to reach his city without empty hands. As I have made connection to the book, I noticed that people can be described so strong, and have a week side, every one of us has a side of feelings. All of the heroes if the history have a side were they can be devastated like a week spot Aquileis’s heel could be an example. In this case Gilgamesh’s fear to die is his Aquileis’s heel. “Must I die too? Must I too be like that?” (pg 63) he is scared of death.
Not only this book shows the human side on all of us, but it teaches how to end what we have started, like Gilgamesh always finished what he started. Gilgamesh is considered a hero for his reputation but he didn’t obtain his reputation by giving up in the cedar forest no he continued. Gilgamesh is a book written in the early times with the purpose to teach and to tell a story and I personally have learned allot about the character and about life.
